After selecting a company from either the “Top Accounts” tab or the “Pinned Accounts” tab within “Who to Call”, you are sent to a Company Component view for that selection. The tabs for each company allow you to view triggers, relevant news, competitors of the company, or topics currently spiking in interest.

Triggers

Triggers are insights ranked by the company and the triggers you or your administrator selected. The list of triggers comes from your standard User default and includes the categories: “Deal Threats & Accelerators”, “Reasons to Check-In”, and “Good to Know”, as indicated by the corresponding colors listed below. By administrator request, triggers can be customized by our FirstRain Customer Success Team.

Default Trigger Categories

  • Red: “Deal Threats & Accelerators”
  • Green: “Reasons to Check-In”
  • Blue: “Good to Know”

You can select a trigger, by clicking on its headline, to read an excerpt of information or the full text. Triggers can be shared by selecting from the “Chat This”, “Create Task”, or “Email This” links on the trigger’s excerpt or full text view.

News

The “News” tab presents content related to your selected company with a maximum of twenty-seven documents at a time.

You can scroll through article headlines by using the arrow icons located at the bottom of the window. To read an excerpt of full text, click on the headline.

News articles can be shared by selecting from the “Chat This”, “Create Task”, or “Email This” links on the article’s excerpt or full text view.

Additionally, filtering by product or topic is available in the upper right drop-down.

Note: If an article has no tags, that means it falls outside of the “Product Services” or “Business Basic” categories.

Commentary

The “Commentary” tab includes relevant Tweets, quotes made by the company, and quotes made about the company.

Competitors

The “Competitors” tab presents competitive rankings, calculated from web volume over a selected time. Change to “Quarter” or “Half-year” to view past rankings and documents.

Additionally, select an industry to compare in from the upper right drop-down. Select a company to view relevant articles.

Spiking Topics

The “Spiking Topics” tab presents trends surrounding a company during a specific timeframe in a bubble chart format, defined by size and color of bubbles.

Time Frame Options

  • Today: trends of the last twenty-four hours are compared to the last thirty days
  • 7 days: trends of the last week are compared to the last ten weeks
  • 30 days: trends of the last month are compared to the last six months

 

Topics Categories and Colors

  • Trending Competitors: green
  • Trending Topics and Market Drivers: orange
  • Trending Regions: blue
